My main artistic interest is in things that cause destruction in the world. I feel this phenomena has adopted me, and that consequently my work is a personal chronological collection of knowledge, perceptions and strictly selected observations and experiences. I look for the juxtaposition of such things as seriousness and irony, significance and absurdity, and horror and humour. I have chosen fear because I believe that the only way to live with its permanent increase is meeting it halfway. Humor mirrors my approach difficult as it is to make any sense. Their simultaneous existence represents captured segments of my own inner sense of order.
The installations and paintings that I have been doing involve among others following themes: Negative Human Behaviour with images referring to war, criminal, prostitution, racism, and violence; Entropy and the Human Body based on semi-abstracted images of muscles, bones, organs, and their metamorphosis; and Psychotherapeutic Scenes that depict various socio-cultural issues and responsive, individual states of mind.
